NCAAM Basketball Conference Tournaments – March 9 through March 15
The 2019-2020 College Basketball Regular Season is in the books. Per head agents who concentrated on promoting college basketball loved how the season went, no doubt. For Boss Action agents, especially those who don’t have a ton of bookmaking experience, college NCAAM showed how lucrative running a sportsbook could be.
If you’re one of those agents were here to tell you, wait until the real Madness starts in March!
The NCAAM College Basketball Tournament is the most wagered upon multi-event sports-related “pick your superlative” thing of the year. Nothing comes close. Not the Triple Crown of horse racing, the World Series, the NBA Finals. Nothing. Not even the Super Bowl can hold a candle to future betting action and 3-weeks of before tip-off betting action and live, in-game, betting action.
We used the words “betting action” how many times in the last paragraph? That’s because we want those words to sear themselves into your bookie brain…the NCAAB Men’s Tournament is the goods, man!
But before we can get to the best wagering tournament for players and profitable sports events for bookmakers, we must get through this week. What’s this week? Before the Big Dance, conferences play their tournaments.
Those tournaments are the last chance for teams to secure their spot in the NCAAM Tournament. You want to make sure your players know they can wager on every tournament game for the top conferences.
We’ve got that list for you!
AAC Tournament
Houston, Tulsa, Wichita State, Southern Methodist, Memphis, and Cincinnati are in position for NCAA Tournament berths. But, the Selection Committee might take 1 or 2 teams. It makes this week’s ACC Tournament a huge happening.
The 3 teams to promote for live betting are the Houston Cougars, Wichita State Shockers, and Cincinnati Bearcats. Those 3 are traditional top 6-seed NCAAM Tournament squads.
ACC Tournament
BA agents could just promote ACC Tournament games this week and make a ton of profit. Two of the top teams in the country figure to battle it out for the tournament championship: the Duke Blue Devils and the Louisville Cardinals.
Duke is like the L.A. Lakers of college hoops. So, if Duke plays in a game, make sure your players know! Louisville is one of the Top 5 traditional college basketball schools. Also, Virginia plays in the ACC. The defending champs have a lot of fans.
Big East Tournament
Like every year, the Big East Tournament should come down to Villanova and somebody else. This year, that somebody else should be the Seton Hall Pirates. Or, it could be the Butler Bulldogs. Or, it could be the Creighton Blue Jays. Or, it could be the Providence Friars. Yeah…the Big East Tournament is deep!
Big 12 Tournament
Bookies rejoice! 2 of the Top 4 teams in the nation play in the Big 12. The Kansas Jayhawks are the overall number one seed. Unless the other top squad in the Big 12, the Baylor Bears, beat the Jayhawks in the Big 12 Tournament game on Saturday, forget it.
Rock Chalk Jayhawk gets the overall 1 for the NCAAM College Basketball Tournament!
Big Ten Tournament
Preseason 1 Michigan State plays in the Big Ten. Can Sparty do enough to secure a Big Ten Tournament title? If they can, they could leapfrog Gonzaga, Baylor, or Dayton for a 1-seed. If not, the Spartans lockdown a 2 or 3.
But Michigan State isn’t the only team to concentrate on for live betting purposes. Big Ten basketball has become the most popular in the nation after ACC hoops. Make sure your players are aware when Maryland, Penn State, Ohio State, Indiana, or Iowa step onto the court.
SEC Tournament
Don’t look now but Coach John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats are 14-2 in the SEC. Coach Cal’s fellas could be the team to beat in the NCAAM Tournament if they can get by LSU and Auburn this week.
What are the chances of that happening? Not bad. Not bad at all. Every year, Calipari gets his squad to peak at the perfect moment, during the SEC Tournament and right before the Big Dance.
Kentucky, like Duke, Louisville, Kansas, and North Carolina, is one of the Top 5 traditional college basketball programs. That makes Wildcat games perfect for live betting promotions.
Pac-12 Tournament
The Pac 12 has had a sort of resurgence. No team qualifies as “resurgent” as much as the UCLA Bruins. The Bruins lead the Pac 12 Regular Season. Promote live betting on Bruins games.
Also promote live betting on Colorado, USC, and Oregon games. Pay special attention to Arizona Wildcat contests. Arizona is the traditional college hoops Pac 12 power. Their record, 19-10, means they might get shut out of an NCAA Tournament bid unless they win the Pac-12 Tournament.
Promote Live Betting on NCAAM Basketball Conference Tournament Games
Boss Action bookie agents are about to embark on an exciting 3-weeks of betting action profit. Before they can promote live betting on NCAAM Tournament games, though, they must promote live betting on conference tournament matches. Make sure to sign up for Live+.
