Offense is the Key: Heat vs. Bulls Game Analysis
The Magic beat the Hawks in the Eastern Conference’s first Play-In game of 2025. Orlando will battle the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs starting this Sunday. On Friday, the Hawks will play against the winner of the Heat vs. Bulls Play-In game, which will take place this Wednesday.
At first glance, the Bulls appear to have this game well in hand. They’ve beaten the Heat in all three meetings this year, the last time only a week ago. The Bulls’ home record in the previous ten games was 5-1, but surprisingly, the Heat’s away record is 4-1.
Miami Heat Recent Scores
Miami might not have the scoring prowess of Chicago, but they are more balanced, scoring 109.5 points per game and allowing 109.8 points per game. Their scoring ability has increased in their last ten games, rising to 120.6 points per game. That number is slightly skewed by the lopsided game against the Pelicans, 153-104.
With Jimmy Butler’s loss earlier in the season, other players have had to step up, including Tyler Herro, who leads the team with 23.9 points per game.
Chicago Bulls Recent Scores
The Bulls did their best to move up the standings in the final games of the season. They won their last three games, but it wasn’t enough to get past the Hawks, who had one more win, or the Magic, who had two more wins. The Hawks also finished the season on a three-game winning streak, just enough to stay ahead of Chicago.
The Bulls averaged 117.8 points per game, which was the sixth-best in the league. Unfortunately, they allowed 119.4 points per game, which ranked 28th. But in the last ten games, they’ve stepped up their offense, scoring a whopping 121.4 ppg.
I’ve Got Your Number: Heat vs Bulls Prediction
These teams only get one shot at moving forward. Because they are so close in the standings, the difference to get a win could be which team has the fewest injuries.
Miami’s Kevin Love is questionable for the game because of personal reasons, while Pelle Larsson may not play due to an ankle problem. Nikola Jovic has a hand injury that may keep him out of this game, but we’ll know more closer to game time. Remember to stay tuned with us at BossAction to never miss an NBA news article.
